ECP SPONSORS 10TH ANNUAL 30A SONGWRITERS FESTIVAL
PANAMA CITY, FL (December 17, 2018) – Northwest Florida Beaches International Airport (ECP) in partnership with the Cultural Arts Alliance of Walton County is a proud sponsor of the 10th Annual 30A Songwriters Festival coming to Highway 30A January 18 – 21. ECP is the official stage sponsor at Caliza Restaurant in Alys Beach, a featured outdoor stage for the festival. The Caliza will play host to nine shows during the festival from over 150 performers.
“ECP has been a sponsor of the 30A Songwriters Festival for seven consecutive years,” said Parker W. McClellan, Jr., A.A.E., Airport Executive Director. “Sponsoring this event is a natural fit for the Airport with more than 72 percent of festival attendees and performers traveling here from out of state and many of them arriving at our Airport.”
The festival lineup includes over 175 artists, 225 performances in 25 venues along Highway 30A. The 30A Songwriters Festival production team transforms amphitheaters, town halls, restaurants, theaters, bars and covered patios into unique music venues ranging in capacity from 75 to 500 seats indoors and 5,000 seats outdoors. Headliners for the 2019 Festival include Jason Isbell, Brandi Carlile, and Felix Cavaliere’s Rascals with his full band and horn section. Additional confirmed performers include: Steve Poltz, Bob Schneider, David Ryan Harris, Kim Richey, Hayes Carll, Liz Longley, Drivin N Cryin, Emerson Hart (Tonic), Chris Stamey And Peter Holsapple (The Db’s), John Driskell Hopkins (Zac Brown Band), Griffin House, Charlie Mars, Willie Sugarcapps, The Whiskey Gentry, The Mulligan Brothers, Amy Lavere And Will Sexton, Robby Hecht, Tommy Womack, Farewell Angelina and many more to be announced. “The charm of the 30A Songwriters Festival is that world class musicians perform up and down 30A in dozens of intimate listening rooms thanks to sponsors like ECP,” said Russell Carter, Artist Management. “Artists love to fly down to Florida in January and their excitement is palpable when they are greeted in the airport personally by airport personnel. Holiday travelers’ excitement for the Festival builds in December and January when they recognize the Festival stage artwork displayed throughout the airport.”
The Festival is, as always, a benefit for the non profit Cultural Arts Alliance of Walton County, which supports artists and non profit cultural events and businesses throughout the county. 100% of the net proceeds from the event are paid to the CAA to help fund its annual budget. For the 10th annual event, a portion of these net proceeds will be donated to the Hurricane Michael relief efforts organized on behalf of the many who have suffered devastating losses along the Florida panhandle to the east of 30A.
Festival weekend passes start at $290 and may be purchased at
